  1. Thank you for the great interview with Peter! The products of Berlin Notebook caught my deepest interest and today I have to say that I appreciate not only their notebooks, but also their blue ink as well as their leather covers. The interview just put a lot more of philosophy and „story behind“ to the products I use with joy on a daily basis.

Again, thank you for the interview!

    Kind regards
    Marco

    1. An interesting listen! I enjoyed hearing the significance of the serifs and the filled-in space of the ’Berlin’ typeface, as nods to the two sides of Berlin.
I guess that also reflects what I like about the notebook itself – it is high-quality, and yet it feels well-suited to being tossed into a pocket, scrawled on in bars, and taking a beating (also why I like the perforated back pages: it is a notebook designed to be used).

  2. Ok, my second comment here, WordPress bugged me about login and stuff when I tried to post the first time. Apparently I started a blog on this platform many, many years ago.

I wanted to say thanks for this episode!

I’m very curious about both the ink and the notebooks. Besides Berlin being my favourite city to travel to, I used to love prussian blue in other mediums when I still painted in a studio (oils, acrylics, watercolour). Nowadays I mostly draw with ink in my corner at home, so why not try to draw with this ink.

I’ve also just recently started writing letters, and quickly got over 20 pen pals from all over the world. So I need to write down ideas on subjects for content, when inspirations hits me 😉 Gosh, I guess I’ll have to place an order soon.

  3. I have tried the Berlin Notebook before (the spectracular edition is gorgeous!) but not the ink. Hearing the discussion and perspectives from the maker made me curious to get more, despite my preference for ”standard” american size (ie. Field Notes) books for pocket use. Also, that sheen looks amazing. 🙂

  4. Very interesting and recommended for fountain pen lovers. Personally I love the details, the story and inspiration behind the things I’m interested so Peter, thank you for taking the time to tell us. Looking forward to inks number 2, 3, 4…

    1. Congrats Kékrika you are the winner. I did the draw on our Instagram account. Please contact Peter at Berlin Notebooks so he can send you the price.
